Technology at Volpini

Volpini Packaging is the specialist for a wide range of packaging cup manufacturing processes, and we rely on innovation and extensive expertise to constantly develop the "art of packaging". And all made in Austria.
Extrusion

Extrusion 

Volpini uses the extrusion process to produce plastic film for cups. Plastic granulate is heated, plasticised and processed into films with individual properties.

Thermoforming

Volpini plastic cups are made by thermoforming heated sheets. Accurate machines enable efficient production, the die-cutting grid is recycled into the production cycle.
Trockenoffset

Dryoffset

Volpini produces cups with up to nine colors using the dry offset process. This special printing process enables fast printing and multi-colored designs on the cups.

Desto

The Desto cup from Volpini is a wafer-thin plastic cup encased in cardboard. This combination offers design options such as tear-open perforation, windows in the plastic and stitch codes on the base.
